Lifestyle Branding & Packaging

Collaborating with an interior architecture company, we were tasked to develop strategy, branding and packaging for a CBD company launching in Thailand.

With the legalisation of both recreational and medicinal uses of CBD products, the company’s aim was to create 2 connected brands that fit together seamlessly but also appealed to two differing target markets. Hollymood was the ready-to-drink lifestyle brand with a range of food and drinks products, and Hollymood Pro was the vitamin / supplements based side of the business.

The client loved the idea of Palm Springs, desert landscapes and long summer adventures, so taking inspiration from sunsets, appealing to both the party side of the HM brand; and sunrises to appeal to the more health conscious side of the brand, this brand identity set out to keep nature at the forefront of the design. Elements of native flora and desert plants, and abstract elements to hint towards the rocky landscape helped to create a cohesive brand design.

Developing a more aspirational and literal side to the recreational consumables side of the business, we set out to have a more cellular and abstract take for the supplements side. This elevated the supplements branding, while keeping the consumables more playful. The jellybean shapes felt organic and kept a connection between the two brands, while allowing the personalities of each side to show through on their own.
