Hospitality & retail precinct relaunch

Nestled in the heart of Sydney, The Cannery stands as a distinctive retail and dining destination housed within the historic Rosella Jam canning warehouses.

Drawing inspiration from the original Rosella Jam labels, we embarked on a transformation journey, introducing a vibrant, playful, and intentionally contrasting color palette along with an illustrative package that injected much-needed energy and ambiance into the space.

Our strategy began in the digital realm and extended to smaller wayfinding elements like banners and posters, ensuring that the new branding elements received the swift and impactful launch they deserved.

Designed at Factory One, Sydney Australia.

The website aimed to divide the precinct into 3 main pillars – food, wellness and lifestyle – to help categorise and organise the retailers and vendors.

While a major signage overhaul is currently in production, the website and digital aspects are live and in the wild. We have also completed minor signage such as hoarding, billboards and hanging banners.

Brand Relaunch

As a team we created a new, unexpected and energetic brand kit for the relaunch of The Cannery. Moving away from industrial minimalism, into a more playful and chaotic colour scheme we were able to breathe new life into the brand.

Website & Social Media

The first point of call for the relaunch was a complete overhaul of the website. This 13 page site features an asymmetrical grid, colour blocking for the pillars/themes of the vendors, illustrations and bright photography.

Signage & Wayfinding

From temporary banners, to hoarding, to new pylons and murals being painted, we are working towards converting the interior and exterior of the physical space to reflect this new brand direction.
